SOLGEN, Inc. is privately held. Founding partners are: Phil Tracol, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; Tyler Hummel, Vice-President and Chief Operation Officer.

Phil Tracol, Founder and CEO: Phil has over 10 years of electrical engineering and program management experience with a main focus on Quality and Reliability. Prior to the creation of SOLGEN, Inc., he held several positions at Philips Semiconductors. He was quality and manufacturing manager within the Emerging Product Group, where he supported the introduction of new products, i.e. sun sensors. He also worked for Thomson CSF and Thales where he developed a strong interest in solar energy and conservation while managing several projects. Phil holds a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Montpellier (France).

Tyler Hummel, Founder and COO: Tyler has over 16 years of residential construction experience. His expertise is specializing in custom home remodeling and additions, managing crew, providing personal oversight of all projects in progress, and assisting clients with overall planning and design. Along with SOLGEN, Inc., Tyler is also owner of Hummel Custom Construction which has quadrupled in size and revenue over the last four years. The majority of his work has been via referrals through satisfied customers and Bay Area architecture and design firms. A licensed general contractor since 1999, Tyler has kept up with the constant changes within the design-build community, and is passionate about educating clients on solar technology and building energy efficient homes.

Lauren Bourdon, Financial Advisor: Lauren has over 10 years of financial consulting experience during which she helped small and large companies to achieve high expectation financial targets.Lauren holds a master degree in Finance and Marketing from HEC - Paris, and is CPA certified.

Krista Hummel, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Advisor: Krista is a LEED-accredited Professional with about 10 years experience architecture and design, including multifamily and single family homes, high end customs and R & D tenant improvements. Krista holds a BA in Art/Interior Architecture from CSU Chico.
